沿途樹陰非常多，不怕陽光照射。

也是大崙頭尾山親山步道的全線精華，
被樹林包圍的木棧道是森林浴的好去處，也常見不怕人的松鼠。
木棧道一路上升，有點坡度，需要一點點體力，
但約30分鐘後，登上名列小百岳的大崙頭山，
擁抱360度的無敵展望，一切都值得了。

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 大崙頭步道往下繼續環狀步道，岔路處可選擇遠程往陽明山或是走大崙頭山森林步道，後者是我此次規劃的健行方向。大崙頭山森林步道可謂非常好走，尤其是整修的木道路徑質感非常好，中間會經過風衝林平台，也被稱為老鷹平台，這裡是一個小型眺望台，可見雙溪景致。大崙頭山森林步道是大崙頭山林地示範區，進行疏伐、種植、修枝與監測等撫育，並且建議建議遊客放輕腳步與說話的聲音，儘量減少對周邊生態的影響。【撰風旅食】
