重口味的我，終於找到一間滷味很喜歡！

This place is a hidden gem for foreigners who may have passed by and didn't know there was a fantastic, saucy and healthy bag of high-protein goodies to enjoy. I'll admit, it's a little intimidating because there are no English signs or easy-to-find pricing structure and most of the items look like brown squiggly stuff. But what you're seeing is wonderfully flavorful and tender tofu and meats of all kinds, fresh seaweed, rice sausage, and loads of delicious pickles all tossed in a flavorful sauce topped with green onions. If you're unfamiliar with the system, all you need to do is grab the tongs and start adding things to the platter on the left, as the lady will start tallying up prices and thinly slicing / chopping everything into perfect little bites. When you're done she'll ask you if you want it spicy or whether you want pickles and green onions. I say add them all, AND EXTRA if you can manage it! The result is a flavorful and saucy bag of chilled goodies, customized to your taste and wonderfully seasoned. I might dare to call this the charcuterie of Taiwan, in terms of the delightful array of savory goods to enjoy. The bag keeps well, and may even taste better the next day or heated up if you like that too. Honestly it's a shame that most foreigners may not ever notice and appeal to this sort of dish due to the somewhat cryptic nature of ordering and understanding what it is, but *chef's kiss* I adore it greatly and am so glad I had a local friend introduce me!
