Only issue encountered was probably a communication/policy issue. Note to restaurant: Please keep a consistent last order timing. Told us 8:50 was last order but a staff later told us that we couldn't order since kitchen was closed at 8:35. Managed to speak to another staff who happily volunteered to check with kitchen and get us the additional order of kobe beef. Regardless, service was great otherwise.
Will definitely come back next time I'm in Taipei.

Chicken thigh and pork are just alright. The rest of side dishes like tempura and soup has plenty room for improvement.
Service is quite slow... Overall, worth to try, suggest just order Wagyu and beef, not set menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My review is different from the others. I find the meal to be too mixed in a way that I am not sure what is the focus.
Pros:
The owner and staff are very friendly. They will come around and check on you periodically.
Con:
1. The ventilation is rather bad. You will notice half of the tablets do not have exhaust vents so you are bound to be smelly afterwards.
2. I ordered A5 wagyu beef and the overall meal serving is generous however I feel the beef is subpar and this is no way A5 should look.
3. There are plenty of other small dishes but I do not feel the passion.
My recommendation to the owner, focus on the quality of the beef which is the key selling point of your store. Cut back on the side dishes.
