★ ★ ★ ★ ★ juicy and the sauce give another spin to the other chicken brand which most of us are more familiar with. This was recommended by our taxi uncle and the long queue moved pretty fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The charcoal fried chicken is superb. The chicken is tasty and juicy. The soy sauce and chili powder elevate the taste to the next level. It is definitely worth the wait. Do try it if you are around that area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It has been a long time since I tried this few years ago. It was not that bad. However, when I came back to Taiwan this time, there is a long queue in front of the stand. As the queue is longer, the expectation should be higher since we’ve spent a long time on this. But the taste is really normal. Perhaps, there is no other similar food as grilled fried chicken with bbQ sauce in Shilin night market, so the quality is barely maintained plus in order to sell as many as products within the certain time.
I would say the quality of this Taiwanese fried chicken is generally getting lower and the price is getting higher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big juicy chicken chunk that’s fried then charcoal grilled and drizzled with chilli (remember to tell them if you want chilli) and sauces and sprinkled with seasoning. Freshly cooked to order and you can easily see a queue at this stall but it moves pretty quickly. There’s no place to sit but there are some open air seats around the stall.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like the idea of deep frying it then grilling it, it adds a bit of a smoky flavour to the chicken, but I wasn’t impressed by the seasoning. The whole piece of chicken was honey-glazed with some pepper and salt, while I was expecting something savoury. We went on a Saturday night and the line was around 7 minutes long. This isn’t my cup of tea but I would recommend it if you don’t mind having your fried chicken sweet.
