Best Breakfast restaurant in Taiwan

M	Matt Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great breakfast sandwiches on charcoal toasted bread. Good range to choose from with a small but quality selection of drinks to pair. Everything made to order so the wait might be somewhat long during busy times. Seating is very limited so consider takeout. Very near the ShiLin MRT station.

It was good, but I am not sure it was worth waiting for 10 min in a line. If you are planing to visit the Palace Museum from Shilin Station, visit this place to grab a sandwich and coffee here before heading for the museum.

The sandwich we ordered included a hand made thin slice of grilled pork and soft scrambled eggs, fresh and tasty! The ice tea had kind of an old fashioned flavor. Overall, pretty good, you may have to wait in line a bit though!

C	Chao Yi Wang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very famous sandwich store at Taipei city. The mark sandwich is a little bit expensive but taste is not very special. To be honest, some stores are better than it. But it is worth to try it one time
B	Benita on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went before 1pm and not many crowd and no need to queue and able to get a seat in the shop to enjoy the food. Sandwich is very tasty but a bit pricey if consider about the environment.

It’s probably double the price than a normal sandwich one can buy from any breakfast stores in a corner near one’s home/hotel. I am not saying the sandwich is bad. It is still above average but not great enough, in my opinion, to queue more than 30 minutes in the morning. Though, this could be a good opportunity to experience Taiwanese queueing culture. Will probably not return again, unless no queue needed! BTW, this store opens at 6:30am. People come even earlier to queue, just FYI!
