★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went shrimping with a friend for the first time tonight and it was a blast. The staff was super nice and helpful and taught us everything we needed to know even though our mandarin is quite bad. The two of us only caught 3 shrimp in an hour but practice makes perfect. We also spent an hour fishing for trout and caught two in an hour which was also extremely fun. The staff was also super patient with us when they were teaching us how to prepare and cook the shrimp/fish. All in all an incredible experience and I look forward to going back in the near future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was a blast if you like to drink beer and sit next to a cement pond and fish for shrimp. I believe you pay by the hour and when all done, you get to eat your catch

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shrimp fishing place. Fishing course are provided for free for newbies. The catch can then either be grilled in the self-service grill, or given to the kitchen to grill for you for a small service fee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 300NT per hour and per rod. Within two hours we only caught 7 shrimps. Time goes by really quickly so 2 hours is a good choice. They supply you with everything you need to catch shrimps such as the rod, bait, hooks, nets etc.
You are able to buy Asian Food (whole meals and dishes) but it is quite expensive. Beer is also offered at around 80NT for a quartz size.
Pros - friendly service. Not super busy so there are lots of spots to fish and to cook the shrimps.
Cons - can get quite pricey if you go with a lot of people. Bathrooms are incredibly dirty. Staff not fluent in English.
Another major reason for the average rating is that there were lots of dead shrimps in the pool so that indicates poor water quality or other reasons. The staff was cleaning out trays of dead shrimp at the end of the session.
The fresh shrimp was still great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worth going. Very nice place to go to "shrimping". They have 4 big pools, the staff comes quite often with buckets of shrimp to fill the pools. If you are like me, didn't catch any shrimp, you can still enjoy a seafood lunch next to the pool

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is my 1st time shrimping in Taiwan and I absolutely love it!!!!! The place is so nice, clean and have air flow not stuffy at all. Staff here very friendly and willingly to give you some tricks how to get the shrimp. The barbecue area is not that clean but it's also not too dirty. The food here is awesome. I think, all dishes I had have better taste than many 熱燒 in taipei city. I'll visit again every time I'm craving for shrimp ?
