have been this place for more than 4 yrs. it was great. from the experience of this year, it is getting worse now. facility is going down. hot spring is warm or even cold. cleaning is good, but front desk service is not. their excuse is always to say “sorry, we have too many customers. next time...” DO NOT recommend. unless u have the trip free.

Best Value Hot Spring Hotel Surrounded by Natural Beauties.Had a wonderful stayed at the hotel with the friendly and good services of the staffs. Feeling relaxation at the hotel with surrounded by nature beauties and natural sounds.With huge room and bathroom. And the staffs are very friendly and helpful, feeling at home and touch by the services rendered by them during my stayed. Is a must and choice to stay when you go Taiwan. For sure, I will go back to hotel for my next visit. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a hot spring experience.

We live in Taipei, and were looking forward to going up to Beitou for a little weekend relaxation. Our weekend got off on a bit of a rough start because I had failed to notice that this hotel offers rooms for day use (you can rent for 3 hours at a time to just use the hot spring tubs). Consequently, I had accidentally booked a room with a check-in time of 11 p.m. (other options are 6 p.m. and 3 p.m.). This was absolutely my fault, and has no impact on the overall rating of this review. We paid the fee to check in earlier, and when we came back from dinner, there was a strong smoke smell in the room (the hotel is supposedly non-smoking). We changed rooms, and we were finally able to enjoy the hot spring tub. The hot spring water was excellent and the tub was quite comfortable. We had a "park view" room which allowed us to enjoy the trees in the morning from the hot spring tub. The room itself was well appointed, however the bed was very firm, and my wife (she's Taiwanese) and I didn't sleep much. My back and side were sore after tossing and turning on that mattress all night (I'm 183cm/88kg). Additionally, we discovered that the thermostat in our room didn't actually control the air conditioner. Consequently, when we thought we had set it warmer during the night, it kept blowing cold air and we woke up to a 21 degree Celsius temperature reading. Breakfast was good and had a solid selection of Chinese, American, and Japanese offerings. Ultimately, checkout was at noon, but we left around 9 a.m. because we were so tired from the sleepless night and just wanted to go back to our apartment. My advice is if you live in Taipei, or you are a Westerner who is used to a soft mattress, save your money and don't stay overnight. Just rent a room for a few hours to enjoy the hot spring tub.

Awesome This hotel made me feel very relaxed. I love their room because it's spacious and the bed is huge. Inside the room there is a huge window so every morning you feel the ray of the sun but also you get a very lush green scenery outside, you will definitely feel at peace. The most exciting part of the room is that there is a built in hot spring tub inside your bathroom, what a convenient gesture!!!

Hubby and I booked a private bath for 90mins here and we are so glad we did! Wonderful and extremely relaxing experience. We were assigned to room 710. The room looks clean and it has everything you need from towels to loofahs. The hot spring water is beautiful and the bathtubs are well maintained. The only downside, 90mins is not enough! Wish we could have stayed longer. Nevertheless, excellent place to try if you want to enjoy Beitou's hot spring privately.

A decent place to stay in Beitou for a night if you want a private hot spring tub in your room. It was absolutely wonderful to just turn on the spring water and soak in it whenever you want! The room was big and nice with a small lounge area. Location is great too with the thermal springs a short walk away, buses to yangminshan national park and some eateries and supermarkets closeby. However, the hotel staff are absolutely outrageous and unwelcoming. The front desk people don't care if you are waiting for 20 minutes to ask them something, they will continue to be on phone with no one to attend. This happened several times during our stay. They didn't bother to help us with information on what is nearby. Just gave us a map and expected us to figure it out. The check-in time is 6pm (because they rent it out for people from 3 to 6pm for hot tub experience). This is way too late and they don't even try to give the room early. Breakfast is nothing great too with very limited basic options. Other than the hot tub, I didn't find anything good about this hotel.

Helpful staff who could speak English. Had a lovely private room for 90 minutes. The room was well decorated and clean. The hot bath was nice and large with some views of the park opposite. Very good value for money. Highly recommend.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 1 night, because we wanted to experience the hot spring in xin-beitou! first of all, the hotel is really easy to reach from the station as all you have to do is to walk straight for about 6-7 minutes! our room was very stylish, and designed in a 70's european kind of style, the bath booth, where shower is right next to the hot spring tub, is also looking very cool. the bath tub is really huge, and more than enough for 2 people even! our breakfast was good as well! quite some choice of vegetables, fruits and chinese style of breakfast too! the only negative part of the hotel was that we couldn’t connect to the wifi. we stayed in the 5th floor, and i only could connect with it, if i take the elevator to the 3rd floor for some reason. all in all though, a very positive and refreshing experience! would stay here again.
