★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traditional hot spring. This is a good choice if you don’t have the special swimsuits the public hot spring needs since this one is a naked hot spring. Bring your own towel and water unless you want to purchase it there. Reception desk has a handout explaining prices and the rules in English if you need it. Two hot pools 40-46 degrees Celsius.

The water here is hot, green and penetrating. You feel a difference in your circulation almost immediately.
I prefer it to the other public bath nearby. It is not as crowded here, and much more tranquil...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the second affordable traditional public hotspring that I’ve found in the Beitou area. They are hard to find if you search in English.
It’s 150TWD for the public bath. It’s traditional style (no swimsuit) and has simple amenities with two controlled temperature stone pools, a shower and a WC.
No water, soap or towel are provided but you do get a locker and the use of a hairdryer.
The clientele seem gratefully meditative. I hope to visit again soon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yep, nekid. Not really too awkward though. I am not huge fan of indoor hot springs in general and prefer natural outdoor ones. This is nice though for a relaxing shorter time. Price reasonable, but bring own soap and towel or they will ding you a large amount. You scrub really good before getting in.
Facility is older and not super nice. Water is the important part, and is good for relaxing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rather small, went on a Tues morning and is rather crowded at the less hot pool which is smaller. But clean and cosy. About 5-10mins walk from xinbeitou. 150nt for the public bath. Has 2 pool, one at about 42degree, one at about 45degree. If you like to chill at onsen, here is a good place. Building is also very Japanese style.

The spring was weak acid , wound should be protected to avoid discomfort sensation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A long lived hot spring site. Long Nice Landmark Hot Spring is what it was called. Men pool and women pool. Family pool is on the way. Their garden is surprisingly the highlight. Tiny but cozy. With a teeny fish bowl and pebble ground in the breeze, it makes believe a Japanese garden for visitors.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indoor hot springs. For $150, you get an authentic onsen experience. Go in with an open mind and just relax.
Bring your own towel and soap.
Facility is kinda run down, but there’s a nice warmth to it. If you’re alone, they won’t let you book the room. Couples can go for $400 private hot tub, but only available after 12pm.
