★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a great hike to get there, alternatively if you drive or ride scooter it's just 500 metres from the parking lot. There's a viewing platform on the peak, nice view to Taipei and the sea.
Don't forget to use mosquito repellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You have to go to 十八份 shibafen hiking trail. Don't go to the parking lot,like I did. The shibafen trail takes about 1 hour 15min. There are many mosquitoes and not many people ( when I was hiking up, there was not even a single person). So it's better to wear long pants, or else your legs will be all over mosquito bites,like mine are now.. I would totally recommend this trail, if you follow my recommendations and if the weather is sunny. When I got there it was very cloudy, so I couldn't take any nice pictures. But in general the view is awesome. You can see the mountains, the sea, the city.... really nice
