Can see the taipei view as well..
So relax to visit it..the house is very old which over 100 years old ..and they try to keep and remodel it..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For hotspring and dinner. The fusion dinner tasted good. However, the staff were rushing us. Our reservation was at 18:30. They should let us know earlier or don't let others to reserve that time slot then. Ruined the nice food and atmosphere.

Staff are allllll nice and professional, of course with a lot smile.
Hot spring environment is clean. One hour is enough for two ppl.
Dinner courses come one by one, no need to rush.
Have shuttle from Beitou MRT, but need to book in advance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A secluded place where the infamous young general of the Chinese nationist army was imprisoned for most of his life, now turned into a minor tourist attraction. Not much to walk about our see. The real gem however is the restaurant, which serves refined Chinese cuisine. The environment and the service are impeccable. The taste is refreshing and the produces are seasonal. Presentation is beautiful. A little bit on the pricier side, but will worth it given 8 courses meal. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great private hot spring rooms! Clean and with a beautiful view over the city. The garden is very peaceful and well-maintained. The wooden houses coexist harmoniously with all the plants that surround them. This is a place filled with history.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the 1/2 day experience with cozy hot spring at 11am and set lunch afterward. Out of the 4 hot spring resorts we have tried over the last couple years in Taiwan, this was the best so far.
5-Stars, $$$$
Nice cozy private room for 1-hour mineral hot spring
Lunch, afternoon tea, or dinner
Public foot bath free with meal deal
Overall, artsy comfortable setting with a romantic melancholy history, breathtaking view, delicious food (10-course elegant lunch) beautifully presented, friendly service, with transportation to/from Metro station.
The deal we had was 4999NT (~$180) with 10-course lunch for 2, and for 60-min petite room which is enough for 2 of us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We booked the dining experience only and it was pretty wonderful. Although we had to climb a steep hill to get there. The view overlooking Taipei is very nice. It was 10 courses all in total and the portions are pretty significant. Towards the end you'll definitely be very full. You'll also get a foot soak coupon after your meal at their balcony space. Super picturesque!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful and well-decorated hidden place in Beitou. Free foot hot spring before the nice dinner. Mean is pricey. I suggest to lower the price a bit to allow more people to experience. Reachable by Uber. Very nice place to spend the whole evening. Will visit again!
