★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 為了更進一步了解大屯山的火山活動度，自民國九十二年起，中央研究院地球科學研究所， 在國科會、中央地質調查所與陽明山國家公園管理處的資助下，於大屯山地區建立一個大屯火山觀測站，希望將所有觀測資料與成果彙整於觀測站，以便於同時判斷任何可能之火山活動。此外並將目前多項監測(地震、GPS、地溫及部分火山氣体)重新改善為即時傳輸之系統，以期達到真正即時監測火山活動之目標。
In order to further understand the volcanic activity of Dagu Mountain, since the Republic of China in 1992, the Institute of Earth Sciences of the Academia Sinica, under the auspices of the National Science Council, the Central Geological Survey and the Yangmingshan National Park Management Office, A large volcano observatory is established in the Lushan area, and it is hoped that all observations and results will be collected at the observatory to facilitate the simultaneous determination of any possible volcanic activity. In addition, the current monitoring (earthquake, GPS, ground temperature and some volcanic gases) has been re-improved into a system for real-time transmission, with a view to achieving the goal of real-time monitoring of volcanic activity.
