★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today i rediscovered a lost taste years ago after the tragic incident to 西湖小立吞. it all came back today. Not just that, it’s better - there are seats and aircon - no queue (come early). Best value sushi ? in Taipei by miles ... wish i had found this earlier. Will be going back there on a regular basis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ingredients are fresh, and chefs are friendly and professional. They offer fresh Kaisen donburi( seafood rice bowls), sushi with great prices! You can also customize your sushi, like the one I ordered - urchin and scallop with fish eggs. Uni is from Hokkaido (根室） you can see from the box. Sweet and sea flavor! I love it❤️
They don accept phone reservations, please go there earlier with all your friends together. Basically, I go over like every week!
Btw, their Miso shiru(海鮮味噌汁) that you can't ever missed it! Filled with fish meats , shrimp heads, carrots, clams etc. which is so yummy and flavored. You will so enjoy the power after have a big bowl in your stomach!
It's a must go place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my doubts about this place since the reviews were so good, to be honest it overexceeded my expectations. Totally understand why it is definitely recommended to every seafood lover. The portions are quite large so order carefully and bon appetit!

Fresh and good value. Fresh big bowl of hot soup. Clean place
Not so positive points.
Though fresh, fishes does not have much taste to it. Maybe because of the over flavored rice with Japanese flavored sprinkles with sesame. The vinegared seaweed instead of dried seaweed makes the taste of rice even more over powering. Temperature of rice way too cold. Quality of rice does not help either.
Initial smell that greeted the nose was of bleach which would.be accepted as they sanitized the place but soon a slight foul smell emerge. I guess from the drains as the building is old.
Just my personal experience. Still a place with a sincere owner with the intention of offering his customer the best value for their money.?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh food with good value. A set meal includes a bowl of seafood soup, which is so yum! Moreover, you can have one refill (only soup, without seafood) for free.
BTW, if you finish your dinner very early during dinner time, you might have a chance to get a special dessert for free!
