★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a Temple of Land God, Neihu Irrigation Reservoir, a Taoist Temple, located beside Bihu Park. It is believed to be worshipped by the local farmers for more than 100 years ago, although the current temple was rebuilt in 2014.
The Temple's Chinese name indicates that it was originally located as or for farmers' irrigation pond or reservoir, although farm lands in nearby area almost disappear completely and become residential apartments, business buildings and other use. In the area of within 5 KM walking distance, there are a few other similar temples of Land God, because Land God is well loved, respected and worshipped by the farmers when Neihu was originally a farm land and a designated area for flood management reservoir, by Japanese occupation government before 1945.
The Temple is free for access and has a simple toilet, although visitors and worshippers can also access public toilets of Bihu Park.
