★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The teacher and staff at Body Rose Handmade Soaps are amazing. My mandarin isn’t great, but they were patient in explaining and also repeated instructions and worked patiently with me to understand. They’re also very diligent in calling you to remind you of class and following up. I started with the beginner classes and with each soaping technique I learned, I wanted to learn more and now I’m finishing up their advanced level classes. As my schedule changed, I was able to make up classes at other times. What’s also amazing are the supplementary lessons, in each class, for making things like liquid hand soap, facial emulsions, foaming face wash, soap using recycled oil, lip balm, shampoo, aloe gel for burns, Chinese medicine balms, perfume, room diffusers, and more. I hope they create new classes cause I would keep coming back!
