There are many hiking trails along Nangang Mountain, which is a popular hiking route in Taipei. It is also one of the routes taken in Taipei. The outlook of the entire Nangang Mountain ridgeline is great, not only the panoramic view of the Taipei metropolitan area, Guanyin Mountain, Datun Mountain, Qixing Mountain, etc. in the distance are also clear. The trail is safe and complete throughout. Although it requires a little physical strength, it is not too difficult. The highest point of the mountain series is the Jiuwu Peak, which is 375m above sea level. There is a huge stone inscription on the peak, and the outlook is also good. The steep stairs up to the Jiuwu Peak is also the steepest part of the entire vertical walking route. But it won't be too long, and most people can get on it with a little effort. Nangang Mountain, not far from the Nine-Five Peak, is listed as the Little Baiyue Mountain in Taiwan and has a third-class triangle point. Although it is expensive as Xiaobaiyue, it is not as popular as the nearby Jiuwu Peak and Thumb Mountain. The triangle point was also trapped in a corner of the iron fence next to the navigation station. The nearby Thumb Mountain is a hot spot for net beauty check-in. There is a 360-degree invincible outlook on the top of the mountain, and I personally like it very much.

Ascend from the mountain pass at the side entrance of the China University of Science and Technology. After walking up to the tomb line for about half an hour, the whole field of vision widens, and then to Xiangshan, the high-rise buildings of the Xinyi Project Area will accompany all the way to the Jiuwu Peak. Then the trail turns into the woods, which is cool and pleasant.

It is very suitable to use here as a starting point. Start from the small road next to China University of Science and Technology, and slowly connect to the Four Beast Mountain Trail. After about 15 minutes of walking, you can see a simple bridge and a pavilion for rest.
