★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The customer service is a disaster! Applied for an account, it took at least 21 mins to talk to a person. The online線上客服is set up to answer questions they want you to know, not you want to ask. I was told to size down the files to under 5MB, but still not working. Finally found a webservice to send question, but it only allowed 3 uploads; not the 8 docs and photos they asked you to download. Can't image if you become their customer, and when you run into payment issues, this is their standard service. Thank goodness they are not the only 金流 provider in the market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a scathing one star review but after 10 hours when I did reach a customer service, they were quick to resolve my problems. I'm pleased at the turnaround but will still dock off points for how unreasonable it is for them to freeze payments when you are simply updating basic information on a 3 year old account that has been running fine; we updated and uploaded requested info and missed out on one they didn't request the first time so during this entire debacle they froze our account and we lost out on approximately 10k worth of recurring monthly payments. Change this procedure or hire more staff is my recommendation. When our account is frozen your bottom line is also affected!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really the worst online payment system, both in terms of reliability and convenience. This system is really putting Taiwan to shame.
I visited a Taiwanese merchant that processes payment through ECPay. None of my credit cards goes through this system and it gives very unhelpful failure messages.
It is likely not an issue with my cards because they work abroad. I have problems only with ECPay.
