★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good nature hike trail that's close to Taipei city. Starts from Maokong which is one bus away from MRT zoo station. The first trail takes you up to the ridge of the mountain, from where the trail takes you through several mountaintops. You can do make your hike 1 hour or 3 hour or even 5 hours, depending on your liking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a pretty decent hiking spot, awesome view and conveniently placed near the Taipei City, there's a trail directly to viewing platform.While you are climbing the trail, you can enjoy the sea of clouds and sunrise. Check out this pics.
