★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At first sight you'd pass by the RenAi market - as just another fish, meat and vegetable market on the outside, on your way to the nearby famous open air Miaoko night market, where scooters still are allowed to pollute the air during the daytime.
So on a rainy or hot day: do go up to the second floor market. Take the escalator up and turn left: you'll be surprised by the Jia Yuan Japan counter restaurant surrounded by a very local market atmosphere. Enjoy the fresh seafood and air conditioning !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located on the second floor of the local market, there are many food booth, with crowded seatings., this one specializes in fresh cooked and raw fish. Tried several items, in general, they were all fresh tasting， somewhat Taiwanese Japanese style cusine. The squid salad and tofu skin sushi were my favorites.
