★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 到紅淡山觀景台可以走南面入口寶明寺，也可以走北面的劉銘傳路入口，一路上有不少指路牌，不過還是要憑感覺判斷，一直走到山頂上的觀景台，俯瞰基隆，心曠神怡。
觀景台有49級台階，環繞而上直至頂上
，是扶輪社出資建造的。
基隆市區就是散在各處山坡上的猶如珍珠落在玉盤上，從觀景台四周遙望盡收眼底，不遠處的協和電廠的煙囪，更遠處的基隆嶼都歷歷在目，基隆港東岸西岸海洋廣場都可以俯視。真是非常美好的觀景之佳地。
從寶明寺登上去要經過蝙蝠洞，大約步行一個多小時，山路很好走。
To Hongdan Mountain Observation Deck, you can take the south entrance to Baoming Temple, or you can take the north entrance to Liu Ming Chuan Road. There are many signposts along the way, but you still have to judge by your feelings and walk to the observation deck on the top of the mountain, overlooking Keelung , Relaxed and happy.
The viewing platform has 49 steps, circled up to the top

The urban area of Keelung is scattered on various hillsides like pearls falling on a jade plate. From the observation deck, you can see the view, the chimney of the Concorde Power Plant not far away, and Keelung Island farther away are all vivid, Keelung Port Ocean Plaza on the east coast and west coast can be overlooked. It's a very good place for viewing.
It takes about one hour to walk through the Bat Cave from Baoming Temple. The mountain road is easy to walk.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 從銘傳國中上紅淡山的觀景塔。今天毛毛細雨，果然是雨都！上山慢慢走的話大概四十分鐘左右吧。算是輕鬆的小健行活動！
因為是雨天，所以山上的視線沒有很好！相信在好天氣的情況下，view應該是很美的！下次再找個好的天氣的時候再爬上來看一下！

It is the perfect spot to take a sunset or sunrise foto, the walk up here might be a little steep, but the views are worth it. Its the perfect place to take a walk, escape the busy city center and enjoy local nature.
