The two star is for food only, their service is real awful. This is a high price coffee shop($25 for a coffee), but the service is like a dollar. In the morning, after order breakfast and he went to chat with someone who work in the kitchen and talk loudly. Never come to ask water or how about today the food, just do what he need do and go away to chat. I don't want he come often but I want to enjoy a quiet breakfast. When I see the server, I could think the owner never want to run the shop any more. It just my feeling, and my expectation to high for this shop.

Low key bookstore, gallery and museum I would describe so - interested in a product not for sale. The staff noted down my contact details for returning with further details after checking with the boss. Looks forward!

Great place to spend your afternoon. Not a lot of people know or come to this place, but it’s definitely worth checking out. Occasionally there will be meetings taking place at the long, wooden table, but other times the place is relatively quiet. Good place for reading and studying. The lighting is great and you can see the DaAn Park right across the street. They have great coffee but food is just okay. My favorite coffee shop in Taipei.

A beauty place with subpar food and average drinks... the cost price value for their food and drinks is very low... nonetheless a good decor and a quiet environment... good if you need a place for a meeting or a quiet afternoon provided you don’t care about the quality of their food

Great hidden spot for a cultured afternoon tea session, good for quiet chats and reading. Space is a fusion concept combining cafe, library and exhibition cum private event space. Lovely service and menu here. Expect to pay for quality & ambience. Recommended.

Gorgeous place. Will return without a child! Was going to briefly check the place out with my kid, but the interior design, park view, decor, assortment of books, sunlight, and great service lured me to stay longer since the little one was behaving. Service was great all around, especially from the cool gentleman in glasses. He helped me with the stroller and sincerely apologized that we had use the stairs. I was a bit embarrassed as I didn’t expect it to have so many stairs — I should’ve left my stroller downstairs and carry the kiddo up. He kindly offered me a glass of water upon arrival. Went on a weekday morning and it filled up quickly toward noon. Beautiful botanic and birds related books are featured at the entrance. The majority of the books are in Chinese. Food was surprisingly fresh and delicious. I ordered the sea urchin sauce and fresh prawns linguine set and the portion was perfect for a light eater like me. The price point is a bit on the high end, probably because of its location, but you can redeem a succulent spending NT300+, so doesn’t feel that bad. They are having another promo now: free coffee/tea with the purchase of a book. Notes: Don’t come with kids. Make a reservation before coming. Cons: inaccessible to strollers or wheelchairs as there’s no elevator access (they have it but it’s not in service). The bookstore is on the ‘second floor’ but there’s a mezzanine, so it’s basically on the third floor. Be prepared for the short hike up. This place is not really suitable for kids anyways so it’s probably alright.
