★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 因觀音湖(西勢水庫)而得名，可從水庫的環湖道路渡河後登頂。如果要單攻，則可從台2丙線1.9公里右轉來福宮處過幾戶農戶後登山口起登，約45分鐘可攻頂。也可再續攻東勢坑山及東勢大崙。
It is named after Guanyin Lake (Xishi Reservoir) and can reach the summit after crossing the river from the reservoir. If you want to make a single attack, you can turn right from the 1.9 km of the Taiwan 2C Line to the Fugong Palace and climb up the mountain pass after passing a few farmers. The summit can be reached in about 45 minutes. Can also continue to attack Dongshikengshan and Dongshi Dalun.
