★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 據新北市文化局記載：友蚋煤礦即為東山煤礦前身，位於新北市汐止區東邊鄉長厝。民國49年10月由三和礦業公司轉讓東山煤業股份有限公司經營，執照臺濟採字第2339號。煤床屬汐止煤田，煤層石底層，本層厚四十公分，中層厚四十公分，煤種普通燃料煤，有主斜坑二坑，又斜坑二坑，再又斜坑一坑。降煤礦場至五堵火車站設有十二磅雙線降煤軌道，以零點六公噸手推台車運輸。統計民國37年開採至民國79年收坑，四十三年期間總產量一百六十九萬五千四百三十公噸，年平均三萬九千四百二十八公噸。
According to the records of the New Taipei City Cultural Bureau: Youcheng Coal Mine is the predecessor of Dongshan Coal Mine, located in Changcuo, Dongbian Township, Xizhi District, New Taipei City. In October 1949, Sanhe Mining Company transferred the operation of Dongshan Coal Industry Co., Ltd., with license Taiji Caizi No. 2339. The coal bed belongs to the Xizhi Coal Field. The bottom layer of coal bed is 40 cm thick, and the middle layer is 40 cm thick. The coal type is ordinary fuel coal. There are two main inclined pits, two inclined pits, and another inclined pit. There is a twelve-pound double-track coal-reduction track from the coal mine site to the Wudu Railway Station, which is transported by 0.6 tonne trolley. According to statistics, from the mining in 1991 to the closing in 1979, the total output during the forty-three years was 1,695,430 metric tons, with an annual average of 39,428 metric tons.

一個沒落的礦業聚落，這裡有運煤橋遺跡、壺穴、台車...，本來是生態園區，但是後來設施拆除，一切又回到從前，適合散步、騎腳踏車或壯年聽雨、沉澱心靈。
Keelung/Friendly Gnat (Ecological Park)
A declining mining settlement, there are the remains of a coal transport bridge, pot holes, trolleys... ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 友蚋溪沿途很多步道有階梯可下溪谷玩水,水質清澈有魚兒遊來游去,空氣很好,石公潭可供游泳有如秘境,值得一遊。
Many trails along the Youchong River have stairs to go down to the valley to play in the water. The water is clear and there are fish swimming around. The air is very good. Shigongtan is a secret place for swimming and worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 油桐花已至盛開季節，滿滿的雪花遍地，環繞著友蚋溪谷而行呼吸芬多精，真人間仙境也。唯一的缺點就是階梯石頭滑溜，特別提醒大家注意喔～
