木造屋頂帶著濃濃的日本味，採懷舊的日式澡堂設計風格，是社寮公共浴室的特色。本區五間公共浴室裡，唯一有「個人池」的設置就在社寮公共浴室，男女湯內各有四個小溫泉池，外頭寫有「湯」字，別具日式風情。本處鄰近金山青年活動中心、金山海水浴場、獅頭山公園以及西伯利亞小白鶴寄居過的金山清水溼地，非常適合賞鳥人士前來泡湯，紓解筋骨。
