Located in Shuiweigang, Fengyuli, Jinshan District, New Taipei City, the Welling Palace, commonly known as "Shuiweiwangye Temple", is dedicated to the Lords of Zhu, Chi, and Wen as the main gods. Why is Jinshan called Shuiwei? Because the local area is located at the estuary of Jinbaoli Creek and Yuantan Creek, it was formerly named "Shuiwei" (meaning "tail of water"). The temple was built at the current site in the 31st year of Guangxu in Qing Dynasty (1905) (according to Jinshan Recorded in Wanli History, written by Mr. Li Baotong), the palace was named "Yu Catch Palace", and it was renamed "Welling Palace" after the liberation, and it is still in use today. When the prince changed his home several times, he finally had a certain amount to enjoy cigarettes forever. The palace has undergone many constructions and additions to become the current temple.
