★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unfriendly service method (you have to carry the plates yourself across the street to your table, and get rained on). But most of their food is great. I liked the bamboo, 酸菜大腸, fried whole fish (柳葉魚), fried shrimp roll. 炒麵 is also nice. Would not recommend the pork knuckle. A rather unique experience.

1. Grab the plates from the store
2. Find a seat opposite the store
Ordered a few dishes, duck, noodles, bamboo shoot and duck insides.
Duck is ok, noodles is tasty.
Paid around $600~ for 4 pax.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very busy joint in the old street. Supposedly famous for its duck, I found it very generic and slightly chewy. Definitely not the best duck I’ve ever had. The other dishes were ok. Nothing too amazing overall. You have to find a table first then go to the counter and grab whatever dishes you want. They have the pricing on the side. A very odd way to get your food. I’d say come here and try it out for the experience if it’s your first time at the Jinbaoli old street but just don’t expect too much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very unique and traditional restaurant. You choose the food you want and carry it to your seat by yourself.
They don’t serve a rice so you can get a rice from other food stands or restaurants.
Despite that here is famous from the duck meat, the duck meat they serve is not very good. It tastes very normal which just like other restaurants. Also the texture is too hard so overall it’s not very recommended. But if you visit here, you should have a try.
The stir fried bamboo shoot tastes really nice. It is fresh and has a very crunchy texture. Highly recommended!
