★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful, clean, and not crowded! Make sure you wear shoes and not sandals because it's difficult to get down and up. Definitely one of the cleanest beaches in Taiwan. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super pretty beach with beautiful clear water. There are turtles swimming here, I don’t know where they nest, but it could be this beach, so you should be very careful about disturbing their environment if you go down here. There are 2 climbing trails down to the beach from the closed off path up top, but they’re both pretty difficult, so if you’re not a good climber I’d recommend caution. There’s a lot of garbage which seems to have been washed up from the ocean at the back of the beach, which is what stops this beach from being perfect. It seems the Taiwanese government don’t care about maintaining this beautiful island, or doing anything to clean up places to show it at its best. It’s very sad.

I do suggest to pickup snorkeling gear since there are corals on the beach. And pick up some food/drinks because the place is not easy to reach and you can’t just go back and forth to the convenient store from there.

There is a little bit of scrambling involved in getting to the beach. But most people will manage.
