★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金包里教會是由馬偕博士和林孽於1879年4月28日，在金包里（金山舊名）的社寮所開設的。在幾年後因中法戰爭禮拜堂受損，及至馬偕牧師別世後25年間，本會沒有再建堂的記錄，福音事工也因而停頓。
及至1916年宣教師劉忠堅及基隆教會熱心會友再次前來本地佈道，隔年1917年才重開佈道所，並成立為基隆教會支會，名為台灣北部基督長老教會金包里講義所。
The Jinbaoli Church was established by Dr. Ma Kai and Lin Nian in the shrine of Jinbaoli (old name of Jinshan) on April 28, 1879. A few years later, due to the damage of the Sino-French War Chapel, and 25 years after Pastor Mackay ’s death, there was no record of the church being built, and the gospel ministry stopped.
In 1916, the propaganda teacher Liu Zhongjian and the enthusiastic members of the Keelung Church came to the local preaching again. The next year the church was reopened in 1917, and the Keelung Church Branch was established.
