★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I heard this was a famous restaurant for selling taro balls and shaved ice in general. I came here with a decent level of expectation and unfortunately my visit did not meet my expectation. The taro balls were big but didn't have great texture. It was bland and hard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Taiwanese ice place right next to the famous 東區粉圓. If you're visiting, I'd recommend going to 東區粉圓, as it's seating is much better (more brightly lit and on the "main" road, which is actually an alley). But if you've been to 東區粉圓, try out 216 King. The ingredients are better and the portions are larger. The price is the same as 東區粉圓 (NTD $60).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the best place to have local dessert. You shall have taro, tapioca，jelly cake, etc. They all taste great. The most rewarding and fascinating point is that you can add ice as well as sugar water ay your own will for free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This one is the authentic 216 alley icy desserts. All of their stuffs are very tasty and fresh. The price is fair and you get quality food. Just don't be fooled by the look of the store, it should be fine to have them, just remember don't eat icy treats along with hot coffee, soup or tea, it might make you wanna go for a number one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best fenyuan places in town. I must say it's definitely better than the 東區粉圓 next door. I'm really picky with my fenyuans and this place makes them to near perfection. The chewiness is just right and are coated with brown sugar syrup. (Unlike next door, the fenyuans there are not immersed in syrup and are just utterly tasteless) The syrup they put in the ice is also really tasty. In my opinion, this shop deserves much more credit than the big bright fluorescent shop next door where all the tourists go to.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The desserts don't seem fresh here. Though most of them are cooked thoroughly, but too overlt done that it tastes soaky. In general, it is also too sweet that the original taste of the material is hidden under the ultra sweetness from the syrup. The environment is also not very clean. Will rather eat at the other shop by the main road which definitely has better hygiene and food quality.
