★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 後埔教會淵源於板橋教會母會建堂後仍然滿座，以及後埔地區人口密度相當高，就以當時的後埔國小學生人數之多冠於全國，聞名世界而可知，後埔地區北上就職創業的會友也相當多，在此流離失所找不到適當的教會做禮拜，因此台北中會傳部開教會事工議決，認同後埔地區開設教會的可行性而發起。經由板橋母會長執會屢次研討同意並選出後埔開設委員五名長執進行籌備開設事工。
The Houpu Church originated from the fact that the Banqiao Church Mother Church was still full after it was built, and the population density in Houpu area was quite high. It was the world ’s most famous pupil in Houpu at the time. There are also quite a few members who have started their own businesses, and they cannot find a proper church to worship here. Therefore, the Taipei Central Association ’s Ministry of Education opened a church ministry and decided to recognize the feasibility of establishing a church in the Houpu area. After repeated discussions and approvals by Banqiao Mother ’s Executive Committee, five Houpu committee members were selected to prepare for the opening of the ministry.
