茗香園冰室 - 板橋店

回訪10次有了 真的是心目中數一數二喜歡的港式餐廳 之前都吃中山及大安店，第一次吃板橋店 比較特別的是要從一樓點餐晚才上二樓用餐 環境蠻寬敞的 當天平日晚餐人也不算多 ✔️XO招牌公仔麵$180 這個真的是我的大愛 吃過很多家 這家的味道是我最喜歡的 但這次的餐點比之前要油的一些 還在接受範圍內。 ✔️黯然銷魂飯$160 臘肉好吃不會太肥 搭配蔥油拌飯蠻好吃的 ✔️手切XO醬蘿蔔糕$100 這個也是每次必點 吃得到蘿蔔塊 ✔️流沙奶皇西多士$120 這個是很多港點餐廳沒有的甜點 每次去都要點個兩三個口味才肯罷休 這次只點一個 因為還有下一家店要吃 這個永遠不會讓我失望！ ?內用要加10%服務費 價格有微幅的調漲 在繼續漲下去我可能要開發新店了?

Many Hong Kong style cuisines to choose from. Dining place is quite casual to hang. Iced cocoa is recommended!

These Hongkong restaurant is located at second floor with a small entrance door from first floor, made it almost unrecognizable. We order 2 main dish: Guangdong Style Beef Fried Noodle (牛肉炒麵）and Lamb Curry rice (咖哩羊腩飯). In our opinion, the texture of the meat is nice, Soft(easy to chew) and smooth. For the fried noodle sauce usually it will be very thick, but not this one the noodle remains crunchy till the end of bite. For the service time and attitude are OK. Serving time is fast , the waiter and waitress are friendly and quite light-handed. Price: Fried Beef Noodle: NTD 155 Lamb Curry Rice: NTD 170 10% of service charge Highly recommend!

There’s a saying where I’m from “if you don’t have something good to say than it’s better not to say anything at all. The antithesis to this would be “ ehh nothing worth mentioning. But for this HK cafe as in Hong Kong cafe popularized by ABCs (American born Chinese ) in the 90s and in the 80s Hong Kong cinema This place is banging like mike Tyson’s punch out knock your face right out of the TV set kind of POW that’s right all caps bits. Pretty authentic but with a twist that only Taiwanese do it best. That’s why Taiwan’s been on the foodies radars these few years. Attention the details and refinement. True Hong Kong or Cantonese food is fast and efficient not necessarily delicate and detailed flavor and texture. But it comes with a cost. Slow service. We were greeted to order first before we got seated but the food took heck of a long time. I know good things come to those who wait but come on now. Stir fry? Noodles ? Curry rice ? Chop chop bruhhhh. I don’t get restaurants who forces you to wait when there’s empty seats time us money now come on! If it’s busy sure but to our surprise when we waited to get seated the place was maybe 2/3 or half full. This was closer to 8 pm past the dinner rush around here. But the flavors ingredients and texture were all good in da hood up in here. So good I took a plate of finished food. Peace from the east bits. One more thing it might be a conspiracy theory or the fact that the service and seating is lackluster at best. Due to political climate these days it might have to due with the support for HK ? And freedom and human rights? That the ratings for this place isn’t higher
