★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view !!! This is not a place well-known in Taiwan for the tourism but it is not so difficult access (near Taipei, you take the bus at Xindian and then you have to walk), and the view is just incredible, same as the pictures

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's beautiful here, but there's no shade, so bring a cap/umbrella.
The roads leading to here is pretty narrow, so motorcycle is probably a better idea. (Or use the hiking path)
At one point there's a three way fork with a yellow sign telling you that road is narrow, and that you shouldn't drive in further, you can park there if you're driving; alternatively, you can going in a little further and park by the basketball hoop (in front of someone's house).
If you're coming here from Taipei, you can stop at yinhe cave along the way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unseen Taiwan Thousand Island Lake. You can see the magnificent lake and tea farm here. The best way to travel here is to book private car and come here with your friends!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We took the Mrt Green line to Xindian Station and hop on to bus G12 and alight in Xiaogetou bus stop. It's a 20mins walk. This island is awesome.
