★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s a beautiful place just within an hour from Taipei. You need to take MRT till Xindian (end of green line) and line up for G12 bus. It’s around 30-40 minutes in the bus (around 10 stops, you can always ask when to talk off and the people around will help you) and lots of walking after. Just make sure to check when is the last bus back to the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. It's only couple of minutes away from Taipei either by bus or car. I didn't expect that the view will be as in the pictures ... and the more I did not expect that the lake will be so beautiful and perfect for swimming! The tea plantation on the way down is just a bonus.
Great place for half or one dayvtrio from Taipei.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful view, good ride for a weekend with family or friends. Might be a bit risky if raining. Might get slippery with the fallen leaves wet roads.
Less than an hour drive or ride from Taipei. Can spend at least half day there walking or trekking around.
