★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I enjoyed the short walk inside the tunnel even though it's cold and wet. It's quite a unique experience to feel the working conditions of the workers although this is far better than the original environment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spend sometime to read at the info boards about this historical sites to understand the different areas that we pass by along the way. The weather was cooling up there and there's also cafe and souvenir shop near the main attraction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to see how gold mining was done in Taiwan..Also get a chance to see 1000 KG gold bar and also tools and actual mine.
We loved this place. The guide was good and explained us in English.
You can very easily spend entire day here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty interesting to look at the lives of taiwanese miners as the town is a mining town. The structures are well maintained and they opened up the tunnel for tourists. It is explained that it is cut short due to some unstable area they didnt want to open but the tunnel exhibits give you a glimpse of the lives of the miners who worked there. Before entering the tunnel you are to go through a museum about gold and they have a large gold bar on display they you can take a picutre with.
