小粗坑古道

Compared with Dacukeng, it is a less developed trail. A few sections are pallets, and most are stones with moss. The path is very obvious. You can see the remains of the original settlement along the way, which is unique. However, after passing the mountain temple in the latter part, it continued to climb. The route to Jiufen should have a good view when the weather is good, but this time it encountered heavy fog.

Although there are organized trails, the middle ruins are not organized, and the outlook is not very good.

Easy and simple trail, suitable for children to go back and forth for about 2-3 hours.

The Xiaoshukeng Ancient Road is an ancient road with historical stories. You can walk from the Houtong Gongqiao Community to Jiufen, and then take the Dashukeng Ancient Road to return to Houtong. There are many early settlement sites along the way, allowing travelers to witness the glorious days of that year.

2022/04/23 (Saturday) The car parked near Ruifang Railway Station, and took the small bus (No. 808, a little hard to wait ?) to get off at Zuokengkou. Climb over the mountains and down to Jiufen. (There are not many tourists in Jiufen today, which may be related to the epidemic) Finally, take the bus back to Ruifang Railway Station. Don't look back...like it ?!

Compared with the fame of Dacukeng Ancient Road, many people pass by and miss the Xiaocukeng Ancient Road. I don’t know there is such a small secret place near Monkey Cave. Starting from Monkey Cave to Jiufen Songde Park, the total length is about 2.5 kilometers. The small standing sign is very inconspicuous. When I walked in, I discovered that it is really a beautiful place left by natural trails + history and humanities. Minerals have been mined here in the past, so you can see a lot of stone houses that former residents lived in. Most of them have been dumped and destroyed. There are also Di Gong Temple and Shan Temple (very distinctive). You can imagine the prosperity of the past. Years~ There are mostly stone steps, gravel steps, wooden steps, and soil paths along the way. Some are quite steep. In addition, there are moss on the steps in the woods. Be careful not to slip when you walk. It is not recommended to come after rain or rain. , It will be very tired to get up. At the highest point of the walkway, it starts to go straight down to Songde Park. The stairs on this section of the road are not easy to walk. There are many broken parts. It is easy to trip and fall when walking. It is also steep. It is recommended for mountain friends with bad knees. It’s better to bring a trekking pole. When you get down to Songde Park, you can go to Jiufen Old Street on the right, where you can eat and enjoy shopping. An O-shaped trail is formed at the mountaineering entrance of the Xiaocukeng Trail.
