★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 金瓜石博物館沒有停車場，附近最大的收費停車場就是在下面半山腰新山路上，停好車從旁邊階梯直攻而上，坡度有點陡四周都是住家風景很漂亮，走上來之後就是金瓜石博物館門口。
如果你來的下一站是想去九份，那麼建議離開停車場時要走時雨高中方向的「瑞金公路」過去九份，我上次走錯往反方向新山路，路越走越窄接到山尖路，整條路只有一台車子可以過，又接近傍晚感覺不對趕快回頭繞了一大圈又回到瑞金公路才安全到達九份。
