★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 雙溪教會始自一八七三年偕牧師從台北到噶瑪蘭佈教時，在此（頂雙溪）設中途休息站，積極向居民傳福音，並在鄉內行醫拔牙，福音漸漸在此滋長。第一所教堂在一八八七年三月完工，乃石牆茅草頂建築。今日之禮拜堂乃在卓開日牧師時期，經信徒同心協力、搬運砂石重建之鋼筋水泥聖殿，一九四五年完工。
The Sungai Church started in 1873 when Rev. Kwong taught from Taipei to Kamalambu. He set up a break station here (Ding Shuangxi) to actively spread the gospel to the residents and practice tooth extraction in the village. This grows. The first church was completed in March 1887 and was built with stone walls and thatched roofs. Today's chapel is a reinforced concrete temple rebuilt by the believers in the period of Rev. Zhuo Kairi, and the sandstone was rebuilt.
