★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice smaller park. People gather here on the weekends. Seems like there is always someone at one of the entrances that is protesting, but not overly distracting. The pagodas have been here since I was a kid over 30 years ago. Bring your kids! It can become a major thoroughfare during commute hours because of the MRT station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s an eye-catching monument dedicated to the victims of the infamous 2/28 Massacre, which started the 40-year military rule of Taiwan. The designer, Cheng Tzu-tsai, was a known political dissident who came up with the design while serving time for entering Taiwan illegally.
