Based on historical facts. Many historical events in Taiwan; all have disappeared. Can be preserved; it is not simple.

On the land of Taiwan, Japanese engineers have contributed to the construction of Taiwan and kept the inscriptions commemorating him. This is reasonable, but the note cards next to them, the main text of the Japanese Emperor’s Year, the notes of the Western Yuan, the Republic of China no year, is it Expressing willingness to be colonized? Do not understand the mentality of the person who sets the note card.

It is a monument to commemorate the Japanese engineer, Shigeshiro Yoshiji (currently from Nagoya Institute of Technology) during the Japanese colonial era. Originally I didn't know this person, but since the great-grandson of the TV appraisal team requested the appraisal of treasures related to Shigeshiro Yoshiji, I was interested in it. At that time, he was engaged in work as a local engineer to open the old Caoling Tunnel, but due to difficult construction and bad conditions, he was killed due to illness before completion. The Old Caoling Tunnel was the longest in Taiwan at the time of construction, and seems to have been one of the largest tunnels in Asia. Yoshiji was also involved in the construction of the Sandiaoling Tunnel. This memorial was built in memory of the deceased after the tunnel was completed, but when Japan pulled it out of Taiwan after World War II and the Kuomintang came to Taiwan, the letters of the memorial were painted with concrete. Even so, I managed to survive until now, and I was lonely on the roadside, but in recent years, along with the movement of re-evaluation of the achievements in the field, it seems that the area around the memorial monument has been neatly maintained and Japanese families have also visited. The old Caoling Tunnel completed by Shigeshichiro Yoshiji and others was originally opened as a railway tunnel, but it has already been abolished for railway use, and now it can be redeveloped as a cycling road and can be run by bicycle. It seems that Japanese travelers should definitely visit and think about their predecessors if they come near.

It’s awful, just taking pictures of the train, and the robot, the focus of the monument is ignored...

The Japanese engineer who supervised the construction of the Caoling Railway later became ill due to overwork and set up a monument to commemorate his contribution.

History is to record the personnel, time, and features at that time. (1) The main text uses the Japanese emperor's reign, (2) the appendix uses the Western Yuan. In some countries, only one is selected as the main text. The main text represents the reign of the ruling year, which is added to the letter for the convenience of understanding or internationalization. Wiki Sandiao Cape Lighthouse records: The lighthouse was completed in 1935 (Showa 10). The lighthouse site commentary board previously recorded that it was built in the 24th year of the Republic of China. The lighthouse website of the Ministry of Communications is now completed in 1935 (Showa 10). There is no Republican year at all. Does it mean it has been under the trust of the United Nations?
