從福隆車站經隆隆古道方向過來一路上會經過好幾個假山頭，視野有些也很棒。整段路徑非常濕滑，很多爛泥巴，有時會整腳陷進去的那種程度，必須很小心每一個步伐，最好戴上手套並使用登山杖避免摔跤，有些路段旁邊就是懸崖深谷，要注意安全。山頂前芒草茂密，想必秋末冬初時分的芒花盛開季節一定很美很壯觀，但手腳也容易遍體鱗傷啦?
