It is a pity that the tobacco factory was not open for visits after the smoke prevention and control law was launched. The environment inside is quiet and clean, with small bridges and flowing water, and it has the style of the Republic of China in the 1970s.

A glimpse of the year - the Taipei tobacco factory November 02, 2013 In the prosperous business district of the second section of Ankang Road, there is a bus stop called "Taipei Tobacco Factory". In addition to the occasional smell of tobacco in the vicinity, the inconspicuous door is easy to overlook. It is also an important enterprise in Ankeng. Taipei Tobacco Factory is a cigarette production base of Taiwan Tobacco and Wine Company in the northern region. The annual output is up to 650,000 boxes. The brands such as Changshou, Baodao and Xinyuan, which are common in the market, are produced from this factory. The Taipei Tobacco Factory was formerly the "Taiwan Tobacco Factory of the Governor's Office of the Taiwan Governor's Office" during the Japanese occupation. It was built in the first year of the Republic of China. It was located in the Taipei Hall of the time. Street), located at the train station in Taipei, covering an area of 3.14 hectares. In the thirty-four years, Taiwan recovered and renamed the "Taiwan Provincial Monopoly Bureau Taipei Tobacco Factory." In the 1950s, in order to cooperate with the wartime relocation plan, the branch was set up at the current site of the second section of Ankang Road, Xindian City, Taipei County. Although most of the buildings in the factory were built after the relocation of the factory, since the Japanese occupation period, it is the Ankang branch of the public sales bureau. There are water in the factory, which has become one of the few remaining garden-style factories. The whole factory was registered as a historic building in 2007, and the brick boilers and chimneys with historical features are listed as municipal monuments. The Taipei tobacco factory production department has three workshops, namely, leaf cutting, cigarette packaging and filters. The merger of the Taipei Tobacco Factory of Songshan Tobacco Factory in 1987 made it the only place of origin for northern tobacco products. Taiwan Tobacco and Alcohol Company has three tobacco factories in North, Central and South in Taiwan, Fengyuan Tobacco Factory in the middle and Neipu Tobacco Factory in Pingtung in the south. Early tobacco factories also opened for students to study outside the school, but in order to comply with the smoke prevention and control laws, the tobacco factory is no longer open to visit.
