Yongde Palace, located at the oblique corner of No. 2, Alley 51, Lane 91, Zhulin Road, is dedicated to Di Gong. The palace was built in the Gengwu year, facing the river embankment. There is a large square in front of the temple, where many vehicles can be parked at ordinary times, and a stage can be set up when there is a celebration. The scale of the temple itself is small, but the stone dragon pillars, stone lions, clay gables, flower windows, sky furnaces, and long worship tables are all complete. In addition to the main gods, Di Gong and Di Wu, the temple also enshrines Emperor Baosheng, Avalokitesvara, Guan Gong, Jigong, Crown Prince and Mazu who was invited from Lugang Xinzu Palace. Although the structure is small, it is very lively and incense is flourishing. According to the local elder Mr. Chen Zhengdao, about 60 years ago, an old woman was washing clothes by the river outside the current embankment. Suddenly, a wooden statue of about one foot high floated in the distance. Its body was made of fine bamboo. The soil filled with rice husks is very unique. It was left by the bamboo bushes. That night, I dreamed that the god came to enlighten the dream. It was the goddess worshipped in the upper reaches. Because of the flooding, I found it for the woman. A temple was built to enshrine it, so a small earthen house about one meter high was built next to the bamboo bush for worship. After that, there were six or seven floods, repeated destruction and repeated construction, and the incense continued to burn. After the embankment was built, the original temple was destroyed again. Fortunately, the landlord Mr. Chen Jianfa donated the land: another pharmacy owner prayed to the land public to support the construction after successful wealth.
