★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Being from the South (US), and with many opportunities for US travel, ive experienced alot of restaurants that do steak (chain and small business).
Ive only had one comprable experience, and that was the (personal) home cooking of the owners of the Timberline in Beaver, UT.
This was worth the trip, and the locals love it too, long lines I hear that we got up early (just before opening time) to get there and the line was already starting to form.
Prices are fair and the service was great.
if you want to visit Taipei, or will be, I say that you MUST add this restaurant to your list/schedule!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We arrived at 1.30pm and there’s no queue. The steaks were in good portion and reasonably priced. All ala-carte meals come with unlimited refills of soup (beef tomato & cream corn) and coffee, tea and soft drinks. Service was great as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too expensive but has really good ingredients and service. The food are all really nice although the beef is one of the thinner ones. So keep away from medium to well done. The soup is amazing with alot of beef inside that u can fish for. Love the interior design it has as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The chef knows what (s)he is doing to the meat. Either chicken thigh or pork steak, they got it good. We didn’t try their beef steak but I believe the signature is only going to be better. Tenderness, juiciness, delicate flavor, heat, they have them all. The side vegetables are quite fresh unlike other steakhouses that usually use cheaper ingredients to balance the costs. They also have excellent soup which is all you can have. It has good ambiance and clean environment. One minor complaint is that they tend to put things of equally strong flavor together, for example the mushroom risotto which had strong garlic taste, with chicken that’s heavily seasoned. They kind of canceled each other.
