從烘爐地山下籃球場起跑,終點為烘爐地南山福德宮第二停車場,此段路線單趟距離約2.3公里,爬升220公尺,坡度約為8.9%,尤其前段難度更高,剛開始起跑的前一公里就爬升121公尺,坡度約為11.3%,不論以騎單車或跑步方式訓練,皆有一定挑戰性。訓練沿途,陸續看到暴龍、三角龍等可愛動物,代表已經快到終點福德宮,到點後折返沿著原路下山,坡度極陡,且連續好幾個蛇行髮夾彎,要特別注意配速(車速),不宜過快,也不要刻意煞車,順順往下,瞬間就回到起點了,來回共約4.6公里,很適合安排在訓練時間不多的時間段。
