★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down one of the best shao la places I have been to in Taipei. And nothing can beat it for its price range. Even with price not being a factor one of the best shao la I have tried in Taipei. Worth the wait every time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious Cantonese style bbq pork/ roast duck / chicken , I bought half a duck for my Grandma- and she knows the real deal at 85+ years old, originally from Hong Kong - said it was authentic! Slightly pricier than average, but great value given the portion size.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good Cantonese roast meat here. The 3 meat platter (三燒飯 / Sān shāo fàn) was 100元, so you can sample their roast pork, roast duck, and BBQ pork, along with some veggie, pickled veggie, noodles and rice. Grab a number regardless of whether you'll eat in or 帶走, and wait for it to show up on their counter. Only a few seats, and you'll probably share a table with strangers, but it's nice to mix things up if you're in Taipei for a while. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trust the people who line up outside all the time. They are here for the food and the price. The quality is pretty good even in HK standard. You have to first get a ticket from the small ticket machine and order when your number is up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Cantonese flavor with big portion. Top choice in this neighborhood if feeling like Cantonese quick meal. Mind that there's always a long line out there. Be there earlier than regular meal time. They are closing down! If you take pleasure in Cantonese set meals, visit here before it’s too late!
