Cifa Temple is located at No. 21, Lane 23, Section 1, Xuefu Road, Tucheng City. It was originally the public residence of the late chairman of Shengbao Company, Mr. Chen Ahai. In 1964, it was due to Master Shangming Xiawu who lived here to practice At that time, Mr. Chen Ahai, the chairman of Shengbao Company, and his mother, Ms. Lin Mian, were inspired by their diligent practice of morality and devoted themselves to donating the land to build the temple. Master Dazhi’s compassion was everywhere and all employees of Shengbao Company jointly raised funds to raise funds. Based on the principle of simplicity and practicality, the temple was built and named Cifa Temple in 65 years. After the completion, please invite Master Xiandun, Master Dazhi, Master Zhiyan, Master Wisdom, etc., to recite the Great Compassion Mantra every night, recite the Ksitigarbha Sutra for seven consecutive days, weekly worship service, and monthly worship service. King Kong Baozheng and Pharmacist Baozheng hold the Lianghuang Dharma meeting once a year. For several years, it has led the nearby residents to learn Buddhism, and they have been respected by the neighbors. The number of believers and lotus friends has increased day by day. In 1987, with the death of Mr. Chen Ahai, all related problems occurred one after another. Whether it was the transfer or gift of land, there was a huge amount of taxes and fees that the monastery could not afford. The law stipulates that donations are tax-exempt as social welfare institutions. Under this circumstance, the abbot at that time went up to Xia Zhizhi, and through the teacher of Huafan University Shangxiao and Xiayun Introduction, get to know Master Shang Jing Xia Yao. Because Teacher Xiaoyun knew that Master Jing Yao was engaged in prison education, and he deliberately built a halfway home for teenagers who had dropped out or returned from behavioral deviations to create a new life. Through multi-party negotiations between the legislators and related parties, on September 20, 1989, Master Dazhi handed over the Tucheng Cifa Temple to Master Jingyao. The landowner, the family member of the late Mr. Chen Ahai, also agreed with Master Jing Yao’s philosophy. On December 15, 89, he signed a land donation agreement and donated it to Master Jing Yao’s establishment of "Purification "Social Culture and Education Foundation", used as a social welfare organization. Because of this extraordinary cause, Master Jing Yao began to actively prepare for the construction of the "Pu Xian Cihai Home", which was approved and established by the Taipei County Government on June 3, 91; and completed the land on April 29, 1992 Transfer procedures; apply for a building license in mid-July. The foundation laying ceremony was held on November 23 of the same year, and the excavation and construction officially started in December. After five years of arduous financial turmoil, it was finally put into use in April 1997 with the sponsorship of the faithful from all over the world and various corporate groups.
