As the shepherd boy sits and soars, the shepherd's mother finds it wrong and rushes to the scene. Her right foot is crossed and her left foot hangs down to become a fairy. Therefore, the statue is a "climbing foot" with one foot crossed and one foot hanging down. After becoming an immortal, Guo often showed miracles and even legends that he had manifested his spirits to cure the diseases before the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, he was conferred the title of "Respectable King Wuze Martyr Guangze Zun", referred to as "Guangze Zun" or "Security Zun". According to folklore, after King Guangze ’s ascension to heaven, he married his wife and gave birth to 13 sons. Others believe that the "Thirteen Elders" is an avatar, incarnation, or general of the "King of Guangze", not its son.

King Guangze is the native god of Nan'an, Quanzhou, Fujian, China, and is also known as "the King of Security." Commonly known as "Guo Shengwang", "Guo surnamed king", "Guo Xianggong", "Accidental King" and so on. After becoming an immortal, Guo often showed miracles, and even said that he once appeared to cure the disease before Emperor Qing Dynasty ascended the throne.
