以隆恩庄得名，為昔日隆恩埔、劉厝埔和麥子園等庄地區。麥子園：因地處低窪，恐被水災，乃耕種小麥，以此命名。劉厝埔：因當時開墾佃人皆為劉姓居民，故為此名。隆恩埔，相傳在乾隆、嘉慶之際開闢，為官府賜予營兵之隆恩土地，故以此為名。
