★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 後村圳在農業時代除了是灌溉水渠外，也是沿岸居民民生用水來源，1970年代還可以游泳、捉魚蝦。後村是清代及日治時期地名，屬海山堡彭福庄，大概現在樹林區的國凱街與水源街之間的聚落，後村圳樹林段現在在水源街、博愛街、板林路底下，為排水溝渠。改修碑所在的地方，當地人稱圳頭，後村圳稱圳溝，可惜現存的水汴頭應該不是原構造，記憶中是在碑旁的水源街上有三、四個水閘門，往省民公園流向溪城路的支流上也有兩個水閘門。
In the agricultural era, Hou Cunzhen was not only an irrigation canal, but also a source of water for the residents' livelihoods along the coast. In the 1970s, it could also swim and catch fish and shrimps. Hou Village is the place name during the Qing Dynasty and the Japanese rule. It belongs to Pengfu Village, Haishan Fort. It is probably now a settlement between Guokai Street and Shuiyuan Street in the Shulin District. The Shulin section of Hou Village is now under Shuiyuan Street, Boai Street, and Banlin Road. For drainage ditches. The place where the modified monument is located is called Zhentou by the locals and Zhengou as Houcunzhen. Unfortunately, the existing Shuibiantou should not be the original structure. In my memory, there are three or four sluice gates on the Shuiyuan Street next to the monument. There are also two sluice gates on the tributaries of Xicheng Road.
