★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Please note : place is not easy to find, it's at second floor of the kind of shops jungle found at ground floor, entrance on the side.
Yingge is the locally famous town for its pottery. For roaming the streets searching for workshops affording the best cost-quality-shipping delays compromise, I can tell you this place is the place we seemed best served. For around 10USD, you can make your own pottery (any shape you like !), be assisted by a skilled and patient (english-speaking) teacher, choose a finishing colour and have it shipped in around a month (due to the finishing operations, is the minimum we found).
In a word, check the place, great for everyone, kids as well as grown-up who haven't totally grown-up either ?
