★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 環境清幽，周圍有好多條平緩好走、建設很好的步道。步道上每一段路程，就設有涼亭與桌椅可供休憩。周圍生態也很豐富，是個適合郊遊野餐的好去處。但是大家經過禪寺時需注意保持安靜，不要打擾了出家人的清靜喔。
The environment is quiet, and there are many walks that are gentle and easy to walk around. There is a gazebo and tables and chairs for each section of the walkway. The surrounding ecology is also very rich, which is a good place for picnics. But when you pass the Zen Temple, you need to keep quiet and don't disturb the quietness of the family.

結夏安居中（20180728），
有定期舉辦法會，八關齋戒，
環境靜謐旁有幾座墳墓，
向前通往二坑隧道方向
或北鷹公園（鶯歌石）。
有一臺飲水機供人飲用，
前後路上都沒有，
若沒準備充足水者要注意。
